ServicesPublic and government projects

Tendered properly.
Built the same way.

Participation in public procurement and government construction projects for state authorities, local governments and public companies, as main contractor, general contractor, subcontractor or consortium member, on tenders where we meet the qualification requirements.

Clients

State, municipal, public companies

Roles

Main, sub, consortium member

Basis

Public procurement law

Delivery

To the tendered specification

What it is

Public work is won on paper and kept on site.

We take part in public procurement where a tender's requirements on references, personnel, technical capacity and licences are ones we meet, alone or as a member of a consortium with partners who bring what we do not. Schools, kindergartens, healthcare and sports buildings, administrative premises and infrastructure works all come through this route. Once won, the work runs to the tendered specification and programme with the same site discipline as any private job, and with the documentation a public client is entitled to.

What you get

Six things you
hold in your hand

Not promises. Each of these is a person, a document or a report you receive, and can point to if it is missing.

  1. A compliant bid file

Complete, on time, in the form the tender asks for, with every qualification document in place.

  2. A consortium agreement where needed

Roles, shares and responsibilities between partners written down before the bid, not after the award.

  3. A programme against contract dates

Built to the milestones in the contract and reported against them.

  4. Monthly reports and certificates

Progress, interim certificates and the supporting records in the client's format.

  5. Quality and safety records

Kept to the standard the contract and the law require, and available for inspection at any time.

  6. Handover documentation

As-built information, certificates and operating documents delivered the way a public body needs to file them.

  2. 02

Questions

Asked before
signing

The situations clients ask about before a public contract. Anything else, ask directly.

  1. Do you bid on every tender?

No. We bid where we meet the requirements or can meet them with partners, and where the price and the programme can both be kept. A tender we cannot deliver is one we do not enter.

  2. What references can you show?

The company is new, and we say so. Where a tender asks for references we do not yet hold, we bid as a consortium member with partners who hold them, or we do not bid. Our own references are being built on private work first.

  3. Can you join our consortium?

Yes, as a construction partner bringing crews, supervision and execution. Roles, shares and responsibilities are written into a consortium agreement before the bid goes in.

  4. How are bid and performance guarantees handled?

Through banks and insurers, in the form and amount the tender requires. We tell you at the eligibility stage whether the securities a tender asks for are ones we can provide.

  5. Can you build at public procurement prices?

Where the bill and specification are realistic, yes, because our own crews and buying keep costs known. Where they are not, we decline rather than win a contract we cannot keep.

  6. Who handles the paperwork during the contract?

A named person on our side, responsible for reports, certificates, records and correspondence in the client's format, from the first interim certificate to the end of the defects period.
